Q. What is the cost of registration?
A. Registration cost are based per individuals.
Resident - $110.00
Non Resident - $125.00
Q. Who can register?
A. Anyone over the age of 19 Male and Female. Individuals can register with 1 other colleague they will like to play with. However team registrations are not permitted.
Q. What does our fee include?
A. Cost include participation in all regular season games, playoff games, and team jersey. League hats are available for sale.
Q. How many teams are in the league? How many players per team?
A. The league consist of 12-14 teams pending the number of registrants. Teams are selected before beginning of season. Team usually consist of 7 male and or 6 females.
Q. Where and when do we play?
A. All regular season games and playoff games are played in Brampton. Regular Season games are played every Wednesday night commencing in early May. Playoff games are held in Brampton commencing late September.
Q. What time are games played at?
A. Games start at either (times are tentative) 6:30 PM, 7:50 PM, or 9:10 PM every Wednesday. Playoffs to be announced.
Q. What do I need to supply?
A. Baseball glove, positive attitude, and a will to have fun!
Q. How competitive is the league?
A. The league is a recreational non competitive co-ed softball league with minor rule changes. Balls and strikes are called, stealing allowed.
Q. What about Umpires?
A. Umpires are hired to call balls, strikes, outs, safe, etc….
Q. What baseball organizational rules are followed?
A. Slow Pitch Ontario rules are followed with slight modifications. Visit league rules for further details.
Q. How many teams make the playoffs?
A. All teams make the playoffs. 2 divisions are created.
Q. What type of fund raising activities are in place?
A. We have 50/50 draws, Casino Trips, prize giveaways, and much more planned for the upcoming season
